Troy Hazzard is a Part-time Consultant for Diversity & Inclusion for Advancing Strategic Innovations, LLC; a management consulting firm that is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) based in Delaware. Troy serves as a advisor to the CEO and President and provides strategic advice on diversity-related issues, especially as they pertain to programs, policies, and processes. Troy has over 25 years of experience in project design & management, community outreach, education & advocacy, and contract management from Nemours Foundation and Delaware Kid’s Department. He also has significant experience in healthcare operations and prevention, professional development, grant writing, strategic planning and quality improvement & innovation. 

Previously, Troy served as senior population health specialist for Nemours Foundation, family crisis therapist and family specialist for DE Kid’s Department. At DE Kid’s Department he enabled families to support the social and academic growth and the healthy development of their children so they may attain positive outcomes in school. 

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Delaware State University.
